Burger King Kills Subtlety; Blows Your Mind Away.

I found this on copyranter. It's hard for me to say more about this than the picture does for itself. I mean, what can I say? I'd laugh, but I'm actually far too disgusted. I can't tell what disgusts me most, though. It could be the fact that Burger King just decided to blatantly put a bj in their ad rather than use, you know, wit. It could be that the lady is all dolled up (quite literally) to look like a blow up doll. Or maybe it's the sandwich itself. I can't tell.

Now, I'm not the type to scream offense at every little thing. In fact, I'm not the type to scream offense at all. But this is pretty awful. I still can't tell if it's the sexism or the lack of creativity that gets to me. I mean why not just go ahead and have her fellate the the sandwich at this point? Better yet, why not have a giant sign that says SEX on it with a bunch of hookers grinding all over the worse? Although, I guess Quiznos beat them to that.

Oh, but that's not all. If you look closer to read the smaller print on the ad it reads:

"Fill your desire for something long, juicy, and flame-grilled with the NEW BK SUPER SEVEN INCHER."

Oh well, I guess I gave them exactly what they wanted by ranting about this on this blog, but so be it. I think someone had to say something.

@KasumiCelesta@xanga - I agree. If I ordered this in front of my friends, providing they've seen this add, they'd be calling me gay for the next hour. It doesn't even look that good.
This ad fails, I'm forced to ask if they truly though about how people would react to this ad? Surely they wouldn't expect someone to buy food the SELLER has associated with a penis

Wow, you're right...that's kind of wrong. =/ I'm not exactly sure what to think of this...it just seems like another slip on the slope of society. ...owch. The same company that is providing toys in the kids meal and paper hats for the under 12 visitors (and sometimes over 12, ha ha) is coming up with adds like this. Talk about sending mixed signals. =/

I'm not offended at all. I think it's hilarious. Wit isn't always used properly anyway. I conveniently had a ruler infront of me and 7 inches? really? that's like, a burger and a half...almost.

I guess I'm the only one who didn't get it right away -__- I know they meant it in a dirty way, but I'm sure a lot of people won't get it. My mind is almost always in the gutter but I still didn't get it lol. If this wasn't on the news then us slow people wouldn't have even noticed

It's revolting, stupid, and creepy. It honestly makes me feel horrible. I've hated their ads ever since Crispin Porter & Bogusky took their account.

I saw an add in Oxford that read "Burger King: You'll Feel Like You Robbed Us".
