If
this isn't evidence that we've entered a new millennium, than I don't know what is:
Way back in the day when marketers were reaching for any means necessary to attract attention, one company came up with the notion of assvertsing. The idea was simple. Place ad messages on the asses of hot woman and parade them around for all to gawk at.
Apparently, Kodak thought this was a great idea:
Assvertising was so great you knew it would be copied. Who knew Kodak would be the one to stoop so low? That's like butterscotch-giving-grandpa hitting on your girlfriend - and stealing her (true story). Apparently, Kodak used the derriere media placement during a photo convention in
Boston Kiev, Ukraine. At least two hot women were hired to wear ridiculously short mini skirts with Kodak logoed panties underneath and then drops things on the convention floor and pick them up.
Wow. That's either pure genius, or pure genius. Confused about it works? Perhaps these pictures will help clarify:
Now that you've been exposed to all this "branding", do you have a sudden and passionate desire to buy Kodak film?
Ass-vertising: the wave of the future? Or a new low in marketing? We'd love to hear from you!

Wow, no way.... that's insane!!
i dont like this kind of advertising. i think it's cheap.
i wouldnt want my bf to see this!!!!!!!
It probably won't do much for the straight female crowd...
oh, I would so love to see more of these ass-vertising, because I get to see more panties!!!
that's interesting.
But I can't imagine ass-vertising to blow up in the ad business. If anything, some conservative loony will catch wind of this and make a big deal of it. Which would lead to the broads on "The View" to share how they think its horrible, Then to Jimmy Kimmel making a parody of Elisabeth Hassleback's rant, then Chesley Lately verbally abusing the broad who actually put on the underwear, and eventually taking over the whole media network. Causing something like a chain reaction. Which would be great for Kodak, because publicity whether good or bad is good publicity. So in theory this type of advertising could work.
I think it's dumb.
Nasty.
Those girls are ugly. Geez
Depends on who you're targeting. If your target market is young, adolescent boys, or older men, it's probably a great idea. If you're target market is young women, (who would take pictures and use more photography supplies) or older, more mature women, who buy most of the household supplies(like toilet paper and FILM), probably not a good idea.
Besides, a LADY never bends over in a skirt, she squats at the knee.
hahahaha niiiccce very clever.
I don't see this lasting. If some girl went around doing that around me I'd just give her a dirty look, and I even like females! I also wouldn't want some hot girl flashing her panties around my boyfriend.
This advertising will get boyfriends all across the globe in a lot of trouble, and it won't even be their fault! I think for the benefit of hitched guys, this should not be allowed. It's trashy, kind of slutty, and just plain awkward.
Oh yeah... at least they were full underwear and not thongs. God that would of been 50X worse.
Dumb.
What will they think of next?
wow.
Low standards.
ew to the first pic. not sexy at all.
ew to the whole idea that would not make me buy kodak cameras or film or any product. imagine being at the mall with your family and this happens. I would not want any of the kids in my family to see this... or the men... or anyone for that matter.
ew. and this is coming from someone who wears little tiny skirts to cheer... if we ever bent over like that in our uniforms our coach would kill us. you have to squat to pick things up, not bend over like u bout to have a standing doggy style sex.
why would staring at a girl's ass make me buy film? kodak, let's think better and get the 12 year grown BOY fired and get a real person with real ideas.
xo
Ha. Wow.
this is kinda dumb.....
they do some weird shit in the UK.....
pffff....i agree with the girls who have bfs....
@JessxMaxine@xanga - It's so you can "capture the moment" of having a girl's ass pointed towards you. And because apparently people still use film...as opposed to digital cameras =/
hmmm... what will they come up with next.
Um...it's not for me.
no smart girls will bend over to pick something up.
thats just plain slutty and whoreish. its like they're asking for it.
stupid idea for sure.
where was I>>?? sex sells though. Subconsciously it could work.
