Three Types of Girls
I love going to the gym... and I have a personal trainer who I talk to almost everyday. We have been getting to know each other a lot more, and we finally had a discussion about girls.
Apparently, there are three different levels of girls in this world, according to him.
Ed's note: Let's pretend these 3 Victoria Secrets models represent the three kinds of girls
Type 1: These girls are known as the players... they're the girls who try to get all the guys and break their hearts. They don't really care about feelings and they just want to have a good time. These girls want to have one night stands and have no attachments to anyone.
Type 2: These are the more laid-back types of girls... the girls you can be friends with and hang out with. They can become friends with benefits, if the feelings between the two of you are mutual. These girls can flirt with you and hook up and not have to think about emotions, because they'll still be your friend. They go with the wind, so to speak.
Type 3: These girls are the girls who really look for a relationship... they're very emotional and they want to feel in love all the time. If a guy compliments them, they are the type to feel so in love... get the butterflies in the stomach, and even possibly "fall in love." They will be very attached to you and they want to find a way to be with you no matter what.
According to my trainer... I'm a "type 3" girl... which thoroughly annoyed me because it is very hard for me to love someone since I only care about one person, as of right now. I feel this is very critical of him to say because even though I don't hook up with every single person I meet, that doesn't mean I am so sensitive all the time. I mean, I'm as sensitive as a girl would get... but does that mean I'm "too sensitive?" I mean... wouldn't a "type 1" girl be more of an outgoing person... and kind of... well, loose? No offense... it's just in my morals not to hook up with every single guy I meet. I like getting to know someone before I end up dating them or hooking up with them. Is that wrong of me? That doesn't mean I'm looking for love...
Is this actually true? How do you feel about girls? If you are a girl... how would you rate yourself and do you find this accurate?
Mancouch says: This would normally go on Datingish, but we can offer a man's perspective:
Your trainer is a genius. He has you thinking about him 24/7. If you are attractive, he probably wants to get in your pants.

I'm in between a type 2 and type 3 girl.
I'm between type 2 & 3. But I think I want to be type 1. Anyone feel like getting their hearts broken? Come my way!!
I am a Type 3 buried in a Type 2. Always been a tomboy, just gotten a bit more feminine in my later years. Guys are so much more fun to hang out with than girls on a day to day basis, much less drama and maintenance. I've done the fwb gig bt I also like a real connection.
I would be none of those.
apparently ive only met type 1.
the one on the right looks like fwb material.
I don't think there's any 'type' of girl; we're much too complicated for that ;]
I'm actually angry that (#1) he defined women based on how they handle sexual&romantic relationships. We're more than that, and so are men. What about our relationships with our careers?-our friends?-our art?-ourselves? Furthermore (#2) The supposed 'Type 3 Girl' is both emotional and looking for a serious relationship; the two don't have to come with one another! Many girls who want stability are more level headed than volatile.
And (#3) we all don't swoon and fall in love when someone compliments us! Gawd.
@kassieisradxO@xanga - same here.
i used to be just a type 3 girl but as i got older, my skin got thicker and i've learned how to separate my emotions and not get too attach to someone. i still look for relationships also but i don't fall in love too quickly like i used to.
This seems more like a Datingish post.
And I agree with the Mancouch verdict. The trainer is obviously trying to get into your pants.
What's this nonsense about "Type 1, type 2 or type 3". Man, FEMALE is my type.
@LiquidityOfSelf@xanga - kudos! i agree with all three.
@coolmonkey@xanga - This would kill as a Datingish post. I want to read the comments for this tomorrow.
LOL. awesome insight, mancouch.
since you don't think you're a "type 3" and are dubious of "type 1" classifications, isn't it already apparent that these labels don't fit everyone?
definitely a type 2 kind of girl.
I'm in between a 2 and 3.
This can kind of be true.
That brunette girls is HOT.
Mostly 2, but I think I've been a little bit of all of them at some point or another :/
Mm but I can really swing between all three types. If I know a guy's an asshole or a player, I love teasing him and giving him a taste of his own medicine. Sometimes I just want a mouth to kiss and a body to hold, and lastly I really do love being in love. When I love someone I'll go as far as I can to prevent any harm from coming to him.
@zzz_beauty@xanga - Haha, GOOD! I'm glad I'm not the only one who was irritated by this post.
I guess I'm a #2....lol. This is funny. Your trainer is clearly a total meat-head.
@LiquidityOfSelf@xanga - obviously he's only defining the relationship variables in women, leaving all the other variables for each individual to think about.. which means he probably doesn't think every woman is exactly the same according to the categories he created.
I kind of agree with the post, although obviously the categories aren't so concrete and people mix and match a little..
@liveand_love@xanga - I don't even like how he defined the relationship behavior, to be honest. There isn't -sleeps with anyone-, -friend with benefits-, -long term girl-. I'm just not a fan of oversimplification; people being complex and unchartable is the best thing about humanity =]
I think type 1 has more fun than anyone else... I just can't be like that, but I wish I cud
I'm type 2
Good post
I'm type 3, interesting post :)
