Mancouch is currently writing an epic series on how to stroke a man's ego.
To be honest, these days women have enormous egos too... so this guide can improve relationships with both guys and girls.
But there are a couple of open questions where we would love your input!
1) Does your gf/bf ever correct you in front of other people? Does it bother you at all?
2) Do you like to date someone with a strong personality? Or do you prefer someone you can control...
3) Bonus Question: do you ever worry that your gf/bf has *too* big of an ego? How do you bring them down to size...

lol nah the so has an ego what shatters like glass (lol... typical woman) so im constantly carrying oak boards, stakes, and a rather large hammer around in case it springs leaks or starts to crumble, and no, she has a very strong personality... in her own way...
1) If I'm wrong, I don't mind being corrected. But it depends on the delivery. There is a respectful way to do it. I HATE when every insignificant detail is corrected by my s/o. It doesn't really benefit anybody; it only makes us both sound like idiots. Especially if it's something ridiculous like: I'm telling a story and he remembers it differently than I do. (Note: Either one of us could be wrong). <<<This is actualy a pet peeve. If you couldn't tell by the small novel.
2) I like someone with a strong personality that is compatible with mine, But I am really stubborn, so if he is too, then there is likely to be a lot of butting heads.
3) I've never had a boyfriend with an inflated ego. I try not to pick cocky assholes :)
1. Not that I know of. If he did it would bother me. I would never do that to him, though.
2. My SO has a strong personality. I usually end up falling for those types. I don't want to control someone. I think he would rather control me.

I'm single. Most of the one's I've had though don't unless I said I was unsure.

I like someone that can stand up for themselves but knows when to let me have my way.

Again, single. But! I would not date someone that had an ego too big for me to handle.
1. He usually agrees, haha. If he doesn't he probably won't tune in.
2. Strong personalities are good to me personally because I see weak personalities as a weakness.
3. I don't tend to go for egoistic people, confidence is good but cockiness and arrogance are just turn offs.
Meh. I think im whitty and sarcastic enough to end anyone's ego issues/or to handle anyone who thinks putting me down infront of people is something ill just sit back and let happen. I like mean girls anyway, theyre the easiest to break down to a level of civility without me claiming any control whatsoever.

1. my guy corrects my grammar all the time! I just repeat the sentence w/ incorrect grammar purposefully when he does that.
2. my ex was SOOO whipped. it was boring. current guy has a strong personality but still asks for my input.
3. hah sometimes he gets cocky, so i tease him to knock him down a notch (which doesnt really work!)
I don't know I think it's really annoying when my girlfriend correct me in front others I can't bear it, when she does it I prefer to buy cialis to forget the incident, that's a perfect way for me in order to avoid her crap.
