Doing It: The Numbers Game
Whether they want to admit it or not, everyone keeps track of how many people they've slept with. Now it's not up to me to decide what what is a respectable number, but I am curious whether many of you have lied about your sexual conquests. I'm sure that plenty of you have, and for some reason I have a feeling that guys would tend to make their number bigger, while girls would tend to make their number smaller. This hypothesis is based on nothing but personal experience, but I'm wondering if it's true.
So what about you, Mancouch readers? Have you ever lied about the number of partners you've had? Did you inflate it or deflate it?
Oh and please don't give me an actual number. That's just too much information.

I've never lied about it.
i dont like to perceive it as a lie. we're just in denial. did i really sleep w/ him/her?! deflate. boy, did i sleep w/ him/her! inflate haha

I have never lied about my "number" ... but I also don't broadcast it, either. I've told a handful of people - the majority of which were very close friends and it came up in drunken conversation one summer night ...

Guys like to brag about doing it, and girls dont want to seem like whores. Its very very true.
I have lied about it a few times, but I dont really care. Its not like I go around saying how many guys I have done it with in the first place. But if it ever comes up, Im honest. I dont care. haha.
I've lied about it to people I dont trust.
haha i try to be honest with my number. i'm sure guys get a little freaked when i give them the number, but they benefit from the experience, so they don't whine too much. :)

I've never lied about it and I don't think I ever will. If they can't except me for everything I am, then they're not worthy of being in my life :)

I once told a girl in science class that Avogadro's Number was based on how many times I've scored.
So to answer your question, I like to be modest and deflate my number =P
actually I don't count and I don't remember, and I think I would try to avoid answering it anyway if I can.

my parents don't know my real "number"...but i don't think i've ever lied about it otherwise...if i have it's been to keep people from starting rumors...
if people (i know well enough) ask...i'll tell them...
and i heard this thing about you should divide a guy's number by 3 or multiply a girl's number by 3 to get their actual number. not accurate...but definitely a good representation of the double standard.
