My friend recently told me he has a medical condition called
Sexsomnia. Basically whenever he falls asleep, he starts sleepwalking in a very specific way - basically he tries to initiate sex with the person in bed with him.
Note to self: never share a hotel room with this guy.
I did some research and there have been cases where people have been charged of rape for sexsomnia, including this one!
I am a bit skeptical of quotes like this:

Mr Ecott did not deny having sex with the girl, but said he had no memory of it happening.
Instead he insisted he had a condition known as sexsomnia in which sufferers carry out indecent acts in their sleep.
It was this affliction that made him climb naked on top of the girl at a friend's birthday party sleepover in Poole, Dorset, the Bournemouth Crown Court heard.
But who knows, it sounds like it could be a real medical condition.

sounds ridiculous but not totally out there. There are times when me and my SO wake up in the middle of the night and get it one. Sometimes I'm half asleep until something wakes me up. ;]
Well I wouldn't count it out as a real condition just because it sounds weird.

Maybe it can make sense because it would happen the same way as sleepwalking would.

If he got caught naked on top of a 15 year old in our house my brothers would make sure that he would wake up missing vital organs that would prevent him from ever having to worry about it happening again...

sounds like more of a mental condition, than a medical condition :-p
Sounds kind of sketchy. If they can prove it some way, then I think it's okay. It just seems so crazy.

Actually this is possible. Although this specific case is rare, there are people who suffer from sleepwalking and do strange things when they sleepwalk. This sexsomania thing is more of a unique case. Most sleepwalkers do the same activity whenever they're sleepwalking (if you've seen Step Brothers it has a good example of this).
I've seen people do some pretty weird elaborate things while sleepwalking, so I'd consider this real.
