Sex Stereotype: Ladies Love Bad Boys
He drinks, he smokes, he swears, he has tattoos, he rides a Harley, he owns several leather jackets, and best of all he's got a really bad ass shark-tooth necklace. You can't figure out what it is about him, but the ladies just can't keep their hands off him. He probably hasn't showered in weeks (because he's so bad) but even that doesn't keep the girls away. What is it about this guy that makes him so unbelievably resistible?
I've labeled it a "sex stereotype" but is it really? I don't think I know a single girl who's never had a thing for bad boys. Sure they might not end up being with one in the long run, but does every girl love the excitement that a bad boy brings to her life?

It's not a completely inaccurate stereotype. The biological triggers are most strongly activated in the presence of a man who exudes confidence - and for "bad boys", this is second nature. It's not so much doing "bad" or "non-conformist" things that makes them attractive as it is their ability to be confident. This manifests itself in many ways, from being challenging to keeping people on their toes to a whole host of other ways.

I dunno if thats true. I dont consider myself a "bad boy" but im a bit of a smartass and if any dude tries to come at me wrong ill have no problem verbalizing it and then throwing hands if need be.
But I dont SEEK OUT to "rebel" and drive a motor cycle or whatever the fuck. Theres some gray area and I think women can appreciate that. Someone whose an asshole that keeps them on their toes and guessing, but a total respectful sweetheart that will treat her right(when deserved haha) and wont embarrass her infront of family and friends.

I also think there is a lot of women who have a submissive streak and the bad boy represents someone who is completely in control of their relationship. (Sorry mynameisblue it's not about language its about control.) 'Do me' is an appropriate phrase. I think only 1. women who want to be abused stay with the bad boys (those with a bad self image and want to be punished) or 2. women who have a overly nurturing streak (and think the boy is misunderstood).

Girls seek out bad boys and try to change them into good boys. They like the challege I think =P
I knew lots of girls who liked "bad boys" too. Then I graduated high school.
The media likes to blow this all out of proportion. It's the confidence that bad boys give off that wins them girls. Most people don't realize that bad boys get blown off and shot down by women all the time, the difference is they don't spend time complaining or dwelling on it. They get right back in the game and it's that "I don't care what anyone thinks, I know what I want and dammit I'm gonna get it," attitude that girls find attractive.
It's not so much that girls really want "bad boys" because they come with a ton of baggage, but it's because the good guys don't stand out. Nice guys aren't doing anything but making it easier for the bad boys to win.
