Better than a club, go to church.
Be honest. I am positive that many of you have been to a club and have had every attempt you make with the women fail.
One reason behind this is that women may not feel safe in the situation. I wonder why they even go to the club in the first place (but I am sure that comment will get me skewered).
When a guy tries to approach a woman in a club, many women think that he has only one agenda and that it won't go past the next morning. So what do nice guys do who are looking for something longer than just one night?
We have all seen the movie Wedding Crashers... why wait for a wedding? Go to church! It may sound extremely old fashioned, but our moms may be onto something about church being one of the best places to meet girls. Some women find old fashioned courting romantic.
You'll be surprised at the type of women you will find in church. I wonder if it works at Mass (and being raised Catholic I wonder if even writing this is a sin).

a friend of mine met her soon to be husband through church.
I met my first boyfriend at church, we had actually met 15 years prior at school, lost track of each other and then met later at the church he was going to. Yeah, it was awesome
My last girlfriend and I met at church. It's certainly not a bad idea.

so much truth. just don't marry anyone you meet in a church.
you'll probably find people who are more willing to commit, sure, but it wouldn't work for me, as i don't follow any specific religion and i believe many church goers follow that rule that goes "don't yoke with unbelievers"

I have been going to church almost all my life. I have never dated anyone who goes to the same church.

my religion teacher last sem met his wife at church - he was studying to be a priest but then he met her, it was love at first sight, he was attracted to her devoteness to God
i go to daily masses a few times a week, and usually i'm the only teenager/young adult there. so when a friend of a friend [he doesn't know me, i've heard of him around] came to a mass by himself, it did impress me and make me see him in a different light than the one i had portrayed him to be before - cocky, all-that, blah. but i didn't make conversation with him.
i wouldn't mind meeting a boy in church though - if he's there for the right intentions, that is.

Church can be a great place to meet other singles IF (and only if) you are seeking a sincere relationship and hold the same beliefs as the church you are attending. Just cruising churches for women (or men) isn't cool. Of course, church isn't about religion or about meeting singles - it's about worshiping the Lord and meeting with His people. Black_lie is right - Scripture calls Believers not to be "unequally yoked" meaning they shouldn't marry/date unbelievers. (2 Corinthians 6:14-15)
@sholey17@xanga - Go to a church and pick someone up there anyways. A lot of people that go dont want to and prob would share the same views/interests as you.
I don't think I'm reading this post like everyone else. Seems like the author suggests one night stands have a higher probability of happening at church? lol that is really screwed up.
but the problem about meeting girls at church is... they're all churchy.

i dont see any cute girls my age at my church, maybe i need to go to a different church lol
The funny thing I've seen when it comes to girls in the church is that sometimes they act like they don't want anything to do with men at all. Although this isn't ALWAYS the case I've found it harder to talk to girls in the church because some of them say it would be cool if you asked them out there and others say it wouldn't be cool. And if it doesn't work out with her you'll have to see her almost every Sunday, unless you leave that church and go to a different one.
