After I posted this bicep pose from Arnold, frequent commenter Dare2BDiferentt commented: "That guy's arms just look disgusting. How can women find that attractive?"
With all due respect, this isn't just "that guy"... it's Arnold frickin' Schwarzenegger, seven time Mr. Olympia. Let's show some respect!
As for whether or not women find buff guys attractive, I can't answer that question. We'll have to put it to our readers.
Women of Mancouch: are super muscled guys unattractive?
Men of Mancouch: I am of the opinion that the Ahnold has earned our respect (at least, the Ahnold from the 70's, 80's and 90's). Agree/disagree?

yeah, sometimes too "buff" is too "buff"... and it starts looking unattractive (but thats just me)
i would not sleep with a man that looked like that if I had to. That to me is gross.
i dont like a man with too meny muscles - janet weissssssssss
Too buff....
I think anything in excess is unnecessary and unattractive.
He doesn't really like like he's human anymore, just lumps of muscle
@XDaemonessX@xanga - Perhaps you would not. But the gova'nator was in every swinging circle available during his Olympian days. To each their own...and thank goodness I don't have to live up to that standard thanks to women like you : ) I couldn't afford the roids!
Insofar as being too buff. Yes...there is such a thing! However, "Ahnold" may not have been it. During his prime, professional bodybuilders didn't have quite the drugs that exist today to bulk, cut, and dehydrate the body so that it ceases to resemble a flesh and blood human being. In other words, despite the vulgarity of his excesses, he remained in proportion. The fact that he remained symmetrical AND proportional in spite of the size of his muscles is worthy of my respect alone.
yuck.
Decided to surf for images of Arnie Schwarz in his prime and realized I was completely delusional about him being "proportional." However compare images of Arnie and his contemporaries and you'll get what I mean:
Here's the one I've chosen of Arnold: http://1k1o.com/resources/img/arnoldBodybuild.jpg

Here's a friendlier picture of Arnold's legacy: http://www.lifeinthefastlane.ca/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/body_builder_10sfw.gif
nasty.
um i like normal guys... not too buff or super skinny
Being THAT buff is not attractive at all! Imho, of course. I mean, look at the veins popping out! I think that's kind of scary.
I honestly prefer my men to be very-well toned and slightly buff. I couldn't do an "Arnold-buff" ever.
bodybuilders don't grow muscles to competitive levels for the girls.
Arnold worked hard for his muscles. He sacrificed his body for the sport he loves and to be the best. Training, eating, optimal resting... those are all difficult things to do when one could be partying all night long and missing out on delicious meals with friends. He did have his crazy times, but he knew when to crack down and get ready for a bodybuilding show.
Much respect to him for making bodybuilding as mainstream as it could be.
one can be respectable (sans extreme ergogenic aids) without being superbly attractive.
I love arnold!
Too much muscle is just gross on both men and women.
Not for a bodybuilder though ;)
Arnold Is worthy of respect, at least the 70s 80s 90s Arnold.
Too much muscle is made even worse when the baby oil comes out. If you check out the guys when they are not showing themselfs off, they are big, but I wouldn't say it was as bad as when they are competing...
As for women with muscles like that... Nooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't find bodybuilders and musclemen appealing. I'd probably suffocate if he tried to hug me.
And women look even less appealing...>_< it's not just the body itself, it's also the fact that a lot of bodybuilders take all these supplements to get that big...it's so unnatural.
sacry .....
i think that is the ugliest thing in the whole world.
it looks like a bunch of tumors.
Too much of anything good can easily become bad. If you see lots of veins popping out of your body, that's pretty bad. A handful around your body isn't so bad. Just look at those women that are super buff and tell me that you actually think they look attractive. Men are the same way. They can only look good with about 35% of their weight being muscle mass. Preferably lean muscle. The rest of the guy's weight should be bones, muscles (Brain, heart, liver, lungs, etc), fats (preferably below 10%), water (don't forget to keep sodium intake low and potassium intake high), and food from the past day's meals
