A Conspiracy of Girls
In the comments on the last post, GiantUnicorn revealed a girl conspiracy that was so evil... I could only gasp in horror/admiration. Here is her comment: "my friend says when she starts seeing someone she likes, to switch it up and wear a bra that unlocks in the front. Then she laughs while they struggle. hahaha"
Wow that is Evil!!!
Another commenter mentioned that if you wear jogging bras... they can't be unhooked at all. EVIL!!!
Finally, Neurotically Mine shared the most disturbing suggestion of all: "here's an idea.. borrow your mom's bra.. put it on and practice unhooking it with one hand. if you can do it on yourself, you can do it on a girl." I'm sorry... that's disturbing on so many levels!- Borrowing my mom's bra?!

Just when I was convinced there was a conspiracy of girls working together to foil horny men around the planet (as well as lesbians, I might add)... GiantUnicorn restored my faith in humanity: "sometimes I get frustrated and end up undoing it myself. hahaha".
Bless you, GiantUnicorn! You have revealed the existence of the conspiracy of girls, and then wisely chosen to foil their well-laid plans. This post is dedicated to you!!!
All that said, I'm actually considering Neurotically Mine's idea to practicing unhooking techniques while wearing my girlfriend's bras (note: NOT my mom's bras). Is that pathetic... or genius? Please give me honest feedback.

I'd say practice on your girlfriend. That'd be more fun, and you'd probably rather get caught unhooking your girlfriend's bra than unhooking your mother's while wearing it.
Yeah... agreed... put it on your GF and practice. It's not too hard, you'll get it after 3 or 4 tries. There's a trick to it that make it easy for us girls: it's just one fluid snapping motion, not a struggleing, wiggly thing trying to ease one hook at a time out.
Put both fingers under the center of the hook and snap it.
... or don't unhook it, keep your hands to yourself and be a good boy! :p

you can go the whole That 70's Show approach and buy a bra for your girlfriend, but first practice unhooking it on a pillow. Then when you give it to her and she wears it you know exactly how it works.

why struggle to unhook when you can just rip it off with your manly hands? pssht.
i can unhook a girl's bra (front & back) with my mouth. but that only happens when i'm drunk. which is not very often :Dgo to Walmart (or some kind of clothing store) and practice hooking and unhooking all the bras there. Hey- you'll be ready for any kind of bra now!

And if a girl wore a bra that unhooked in the front to foil my plans... well. that bra would probably end up slightly ruined.
To be honest, it's not that hard. I don't know why guys make such a big deal of it. Of course, this guy accidentally unhooked mine one day, through a jacket and two shirts. I didn't realize it for like, five minutes, but he didn't know he did it. Which was highly amusing if not slightly embarrassing. Seemed pretty proud of himself though
@mancouch - i know. i didn't believe it when they told me that i did it. i was so out & i couldn't remember a thing the next morning. now i'm gonna go & try to soberly unhook my own bra with my mouth.
It's not rocket science. And if a guy can't figure out how a bra works, I'm not sure if I want him poking around anywhere else!
I thought the borrowing a bra to practice with was a good idea...slightly strange and disturbing but a good idea in theory.
And yeah it is pretty amusing when a guy can't figure it out but I never wear a certain bra just so I can laugh while he struggles to open it...although now I might.

dude, practice on your girlfriend. if she's willing to let you borrow a bra I'm sure it'd be less awkward and she probably wouldn't care.
second, if you fumble, stumble around, and the girl takes it off herself it ruins the whole momentum of the mood. trust me... you'll learn it

If I caught my boyfriend wearing my bra and doing this I'd laugh hysterically, take the bra from him, and then help him practice with the one I had on instead.
Involve the girlfriend, she's most likely figured out that you're having issues anyway. She might even remove it herself.
Girls like to be involved, and dedication to improving a skill counts. I say go for it.
When I started dating this guy, I let him just sit there for ten minutes and play with unhooking it and putting it back on...he was determined to get them unhooked....it's paid off in the long run, no awkward "how the hell..?" moments when we're trying to hook up.
I'd say practice on your girlfriend or if you are really bad at it and feel like risking it, go ahead and borrow your moms.
Most of the time though, if it takes them forever, I just do it myself. With one hand! pwned.
