As a female, I don't. But my boyfriend does. The idea of marriage makes me nauseous.
Of course! Probably not quite yet though.
Well they must because look at all the married guys... find it hard to believe that every girl has forced their husband into marriage without his consent...
I hope they do *.*
I don' think guys plan anything. Stuff happens and they just go along with it. Am I wrong? (j/k...LoL.)
I don't think most guys plan on settling down. Accidents just happen.
Hey! They're on a boat!
settling... down...? O.O *shudder*
my fiance proposed to me after he brought up marriage a month before. believe me, he isn't a guy you'd think would want to settle down. :) i guess it happens when you find the right one <3
I do and I plan on doing it before I turn thirty. Marriage, children, and home ownership are very important to me and I would take being a happily married man over being a bachelor any day of the week.
I may have an unusual guy, perhaps... but he is planning on it. We even talk about it. I think guys do, just not in the safe ways women do.
settling down? sounds like a 65 year old moving into a retirement home away from noisy neighbors. i don't know why they call it "settling down" because marriage and having kids usually turns your life upside down. it should be called "pumping up". not "settling down"
If I can meet someone and fall in love with that person and only see myself being with her then I'll definitely settle down/get married
My entire life has been spent preparing to settle down
Contents are measured by weight and may have settled in transit.
Well, I don't know about the rest of the male population, but I definitely plan on settling down.
@OstentatiousEloquence@xanga - Same here. I'm a girl and the thought of settling down sends me into hyperventilation. But the bf keeps on talking about saving up for a house and getting married.

where've you girls been all my life?
I want to... but haven't found the person to settle down with yet
most of my guy friends do. I think that also depends on the upbringing of the guy. like for cultural example, Filipinos believe in marriage and men included! def depends!
Yes.
To some extent, the SO just makes me want it more. (:
It's not so much settle down as it is surrendering.
