The Worst Way To Dump A Girl

The text message breakup is pretty harsh, but is it the worst way to dump a girl? If not, what is?

Whoa. That text message is horrible!
I think that's pretty much the worst way.
Well, if you start ignoring her and start going out with someone else and then let her know that it's over when you bump into her some where with your new girl around your arm, that's pretty harsh too.

there are several levels of awful, and that is surely one of them.

but i also think any kind of dumping is going to suck balls.

it's bad, but at least it's not violent, either physically or psychologically (as in, send a video of you sleeping with her best friend, or similar). It's rude, juvenile, and pretty pathetic, but as always, it could be worse...

I used to have a guy friend who staged his break ups.
An example of the last one I heard about:
He, his best friend, and the girlfriend all went out to a bar.
His best friend had a couple drinks. Enough to look like he'd get drunk but not really. His best friend would then, pretending to be drunk, act like an ass to her. He'd call her a whore and other names and push her around a little.
Eventually she's go up to her boyfriend and complain.
and the boyfriend (my ex friend) would then start yelling and arguing with her. He'd call her a whore and say she was never happy and that she was trying to take him away from his friends. Then talk about how if she cant be friends with his friends then he wanted nothing to do with her.
Basically he set it up so he can leave her looking like a horrible controlling bitch.
He is such an asshole.

texting is pretty bad....but i'd have to say taking her on a date to break up with her and then leaving her there is pretty high up there.

I'm pretty sure there's a lot of ways, but that one is really bad.
Or being told by a best friend on the internet that your relationship is over because the guy didn't have enough guts to say it to my face.

Is that really how people text these days? With various and seemingly completely random letters missing? As if clicking 1 letter more letter was so much of an effort.

well i had the "lucky" chance to have a guy first break up with me on facebook without telling me. so when i called him and asked him about it, he denied it, even though obviously he did. and then 6 hours later he texted me to tell me we were over. with no explanation.
So the double duty is harsher i think, especially with no explanation.

Yep, I just got a "We are no longer seeing each other" text from my ex. I know he was 10 hours away, but he still could have called but he obviously had no balls. Text is a horrible way to break up!

Once this guy tried to dump me in a text message even though I told him a thousand time that my phone blocks them. The conversation the next day was as follows:
"Hey. Did you get my text?"
"No, for the 1001st time, I don't get texts."
"Oh. We broke up."
"Oh. You're an idiot, by the way."
