So Quizno's has been putting out some weird commercials lately. And I don't think I'm wrong when I say that I find them mildly disturbing. Hey, I'm all for weird and hilarious advertisements and for things that stretch the boundaries of taste, but I'm not so sure I like the direction there ads have been going in.
There's something off about them, that's just creepy. For example take this ad that I'm sure you've seen that's been running all over the place:
No! No, Quizno's, I will not make love to your kitchen appliances! Stop it!
I do have to give them credit for trying something different, but it seems like they were going for funny and every time I see that commercial or hear it in the background I get incredibly creeped out.
Ovens are not sex toys for humans. That sounds incredibly painful.
Today its talking ovens seducing young boys, but what's next? Perhaps THIS?!?! Frightening.
And then we have this ditty called "2 Girls 1 Sub" as to reference the most disgusting video ever made by human "2 Girls 1 Cup." I'm no marketing expert, but I assume referencing a video that is entirely about committing disgusting acts with poop is not a way to sell your food product:
The first one was creepy.. but the second one was just ridiculous. Is that for real?
The first commercial makes me laugh because my boyfriend's name is Scott and now it's become an ongoing joke. The second one is a bit much. I don't think it's a real commercial. Unless it's only aired on the playboy channel or something.
"put it in me scott" = creepy
I think the first one's kinda funny. The second one..I had to turn down my speakers because my door's open and I didn't want my dad to think I was watching porn in the middle of the day with my door wide open. Is that really on TV?
WTF? lol....I've seen this AD, but in my home town they've taken out "say it sexy" and just end it with, "put it in me" lol.
have anyone seen that burger king kid's meal commercial? that was messed up.
anyway, yeah those commercials really didn't do the job in making me laugh
