For a long time now I have been plagued by an embarrassing problem: manboobs. You know those flappy, sagging things that are sometimes found on members of the wrong gender? That's what I'm talking about.
I'm not even overweight, but I still have problems with them. My general self esteem is rock-bottom and my confidence in the ability to attract members of the opposite sex is all but dead.
So, the question I inquire of my readers comes in two parts — one for men and one for women.
Guys, do you find manboobs to be a problem or a minor annoyance? Could you live with them?
Ladies, do you find manboobs to be a problem? Would you ever date a man or find a man with this problem attractive?

Angelina Jolie has manboobs, and most people seem to like her just fine.
I do not like manboobs. I especially find large male nipples to be revolting. JUST MY OPINION! The media has totally brainwashed me. My fiance is overweight but has a good chest. If it's something you'd want to change, I think chest exercises would tighten those babies up.
As long as they're not bigger than mine (I'm a C-cup), you're good.
As long as you don't A.) Fill out my bra or B.) Jiggle them in my face then "moobs" are nothing to be ashamed of and just a minor annoyance...and if you want to get rid of them then they're no problem at all.
They creep me out. No I couldn't live with them.
as long as your shirt stays on. i've been with a guy who had them, and i never chose to see them. so...if anything were to work out between me and my man with moobs, he'd have to exercise coz dammit they can be fixed.
I think they are fine. But, bodies are not that important to me. Some of the male models and guys at the gym I know have even had breast implants to make theirs larger. Oh and they get butt and calf implants too........ what's with the recent sexy calf fixation thing for guys anyway?
Man boobs are a result of genetics. Guys who don't have man boobs usually have what is called the pentagon, where their pecs are perfectly shaped pentagons and it looks really nice. It's a genetic trait, completely determined by heredity.
Man boobs is what happens when you don't get the nice pentagon genes. You instead get the rounded shape. So if your chest happens to be bigger, they look like boobs.
Like other girls mentioned, as long as the man boobs aren't overly huge, I'm fine.
As for tightening them up, go for it, but realize; the shape is what it is.
@echois23@xanga - legs used to be considered the sexiest part of a man...check out Louis XIV that's why he stuck his leg out like that for the painting. Also one of the reasons men wore heels then, too.

I think a lot of guys have them...even though you see the guys who are all ripped and buff and stuff, the majority of guys aren't, and so a little bit of man boobs is not a big deal to me.
As long as they aren't too big. I think ewwwwwwie when someone just says the word manboobs but it depends on the guy and his manboobs.
Tolerable as long as it's not too much manboob. When a man has a b-cup that's a bit too much!
Unattractive, but I'm more interested in personality than appearance, so it wouldn't stop me from dating a guy.
If you look like the pic, it's not a problem at all. And as for man boobs, totally been with guys that have them. It didn't really bother me cuz they weren't that bad at all.

I like my 200 pound boyfriend's manboobs, cuz they're FULL manboobs. Also cuz if I don't have boobs, at least my boyfriend has them hahaha
I remember I crushed on this guy that was in my summer tennis classs...until he took his shirt off and I could see little man nipple/boobs through his wifebeater....total fail, totally gross.
My preference is usually go big or go home, either ends of two extremes!

Manboobs. hmmmm. Pushups lift them, anything physical like that can be improved.. It DOES define us to an extent (our appearance) at first, but after that~ the inside is what counts (I sound like a broken record!) But for my own sanity, I believe this whole heartedly!!! :) Im happy, thats what matters eh?

offer some kind of hope. Currently, mine are about the size of small cupcakes- which would mean just a little bigger than the picture in my illustration. Hopefully that's not too bad.
