  • Manny Ramirez Tests Positive For Performanc Enhancing Drugs, Gets 50 Game Suspension

For all you baseball fans, we were hit with another steroid report today and it's a big one.

Manny Ramirez of the L.A. Dodgers has tested for performance enhancing drug (PED) use and is going to serve a 50 game suspension.

    Here's more from ESPN:

"Major League Baseball is expected to announce Thursday that Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Manny Ramirez has tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs and will be suspended for 50 games, The Los Angeles Times is reporting.

Ramirez's test result and suspension are expected to be announced Thursday, The Times said."

This is somewhat shocking news because many thought he was clean, but then again it's the steroid era, so this may not surprise to some at all.

I know a few Yankee fans are already rejoicing because Red Sox fans have been bashing Alex Rodriguez and the Yankees for the steroid use in the clubhouse.

If you're a baseball this is another black eye.  It's just sad, no matter what team you root for.

Are you surprised Many Ramirez has tested for positive for Performance Enhancing Drugs (PED's)?  Is his chance to enter the Hall of Fame shot?
