This is a small reason why I love driving a VW.
that VW must have had like a superfast engine or something! Imagine a v12 engine in a VW, now that would be crazy speed.
If that VW has a turbo and has a couple of more mods, then it's easy to smoke a bmw
VW have astoundingly good engineering. Towards the end of the video, the guy in the VW says he has a "twin turbo" in his Golf. I, for one, don't think it would necessarily take all that much anyway. The Golf is intended to be competitively quick in general. The stock Golf could probably hold its own against a stock Z4 without the twin turbo.
That looks a bit reckless on highway roads.
Dude, the BMW "decapotable" suffers much more from air drag than the VW.
I have a GTI turbo and it's extremely fast!!! I love it more than a bmw z4. all these said "hot" cars like bmw and mercedes don't have the power the volkswagen has, I love it
thats a higher model golf, a 3.2L awd r32. which is already MUCH more than a golf off the showroom floor. probably running HPA twin turbo set up stage 2...550 hp at the crank. i see this shit all the time :)
Am I the only one who understood the VW had twin turbos? I could be wrong but listening to the audio, the BMW driver asked the VW driver what he had then repeated back "twin turbos". Given this, I would say that mod would have been made to a 6 cylinder Golf, not the 4 banger many of us associate with VW.
