News Anchor Fail
When I saw this video, I was shocked because I watch this lady on the news almost every night. She does the 11 o'clock news for NBC in NYC. I guess since NBC is so effed up in the ratings, she figured what the hell, no one is probably watching anyway:
Is it really a big deal to curse on TV nowadays? Should she have apologized right away?

Oh dear...lol. Well she did apoligise and probably gave a few people a good laugh!
That there is one of those words that will have the FCC sending a sizable fine her, or the station's, way.
Not that I agree, just stating reality
lol!!! Well, at least she apologized. :)
LOLL. oh wow.
i wonder who she was talking to.
hahaha i wonder what she was talking about when she cursed
LOL.
Apologizing right away was good on her part...of course, it was kinda funny...but sooo many ppl would find it highly offensive.
:e)
haha I remember seeing this a while ago! I think it was on best week ever.
Hah.
At least she apologized I suppose.
And as for your question, it isnt a big deal to curse on tv shows but when you're a news anchor is has more to do with being professional. It's like when you want to work at an office or something you don't come in sounding ghetto and speaking the same way you would with your friends. You want to sound intelligent and professional! :P
ahahaha.
I wonder who got "offended."
At any rate, i do agree that shes supposed to be more professional than that (She is a news anchor after all...) but...
I mean...i guess she apollogized. We americans can be so fucking uptight though. I dont get why it HAS to be censored.
Go turn on the TV in the UK. I remember this one screwed up game show or something and one of the contestants just blatantly screamed at the TV host. I don't remember what it was but it just randomly caught my attention when he started yelling:
"FUCK THAT! FUCK. THAT!!!!"
to which he laughed and yelled back:
"No. FUCK YOU"
This gave me a pretty good laugh.
Glad it slipped through the censors.
LOL oh wow.
to "swear" is human!
Who cares? That station should just be fined for lying.
I wonder what got her so riled up that she would make such an outburst.
wow i live in nyc and that happened soooo long ago. people are over it. it was on the news and everything and there was an explanation... i forgot though
THAT WAS AMAZING. She said it with such CONVICTION. I love it. I'd watch the news more often if the anchors were more passionate about the stories they were reporting on instead of robots wearing suits.
LOL
Ahaha. At least she said sorry. ;x
come-on! we've all had those moments where we were live on local television and someone was walking around the set while we were doing and off-screen voice over, and we just politely asked them in our sassiest voice, "What the fuck are you doing?"
I don't if it's what she was talking about, but it almost seemed like she was talking about the boat and saying "wtf are you doing, turning like that?"
someone probably cupped an offscreen feel...
ahahhahaa i wanna know who she was talking to that pissed her the fcuk off && i love how this video goes from her cussing straight into her apology gosh this is tooo funny!!!
