When Does A Guy Lose His Man Card?
Mancouch term of the day. "Man Card."
Definition (from urbandictionary.com):
"Requirement to be accepted as a respectable member of the male community. Can and should be revoked by other respectable males for doing non-respectable-male things. "
Except for a few niche dealers, a "Man Card" is a mythical item, whose sole purpose is to be temporarily revoked at the first sign of unmanly activities (usually among other men.)
The "Man Card" lore seems to suggest that there are certain activities that one would have to do to get his "Man Card" unrevoked.
What action would you pull a buddy's Man Card for? And what manly task would that buddy have to perform to get his Man Card back?

Sex change?
Man card = bullshit.
A man that considers themselves a man card holder is, in my eyes, insecure with who they are or overly egotistical.
If I see a friend of mine, knitting or smelling potpourri or putting on makeup (and they aren't an actor, OR it's halloween)
He loses his man card for a while
My brother tried to revoke my man-card when I did one of my Friday Flyover (guess where this google-map is?) for "East High School", seen in the High School Musical movies.
This sounds like a bunch of nonsense.
Lose the man card: Make out with another dude.
Gain it back: Have sex with Megan Fox, Hiyori lee, Jessica Alba and another Megan Fox all at the same time for 5weeks.
@Romans_837@xanga - I don't think that's as much of a Man Card loss as it should be an Adult Card loss. Sorry!
Other than that, what is a Man Card supposed to prove? I mean, if you have a properly functioning Y-chromosome, to put it politely, what more do you need?
@Illusions_chan@xanga - I have four kids.
After I posted the 'flyover' of the high school (link) my brother's response - upon figuring out what it was and the significance...
"MAN CARD. NOW!"
@Romans_837@xanga - That's cute. I bet they were stoked. I think you should get bonus points for being a father first, not have your "card" removed.
But like I said, if you have a working Y-chromosome which you obviously do, then what's the point of the card?

Hm. I think the Man Card should be revoked if said man cannot explain his unmanly action in a sufficiently manly way.
Real men are witty, worldly, intelligent, and charismatic, you know?
Ex:
"Dude.. Jake. Why the hell are you sitting a field with a freshly-picked bunch of wildflowers in your lap?"
"I was inspecting these flowers because they reminded me of the time I was grappling with crocodiles in the Nile. After strangling four of the beasts, I sat down on the bank to view the bobbing bodies of my conquests, Unbeknownst to me, the place I had chosen to sit was also home to a poisonous insect, which promptly injected a most vile toxin into my system. The poor creature died after exposure to my blood (many creatures succumb to this fate..), but I too, was affected. I staggered from the riverbank towards the nearest settlement but lost consciousness before I could reach it. The next thing I remember is waking up to a beautiful nurse administering some sort of hypodermic into my arm. Upon her realisation that I was awake, she began to tell me that I had been brought in after my unconscious form had been found under atack by several bands of hyenas. As she continued her story I grew restless and placed my hand on her arm, she was so enthralled by the eroticism of my simple touch that she and I immediately made intense and passionate love for the next 4 hours. The nurse had a tattoo of a flower on her left inner thigh, and it looked much like these flowers here."

@Nerevar_The_Incarnate@xanga - That was brilliant. Thank you.
@Minndi@xanga - You are quite welcome.
That is, of course, a true story. ;D
ummm i dont know so i asked my man and he said if another dude grabbed his ass when they hugged him, that would piss him off and make his mancard obsolete,
It should be revoked if a guy reads and shamelessly enjoys Twilight! (yep, I'm anti-awful literature).
I didn't need to earn it. I know who I am and what I'm worth.
@Madoushi_Shoujo@xanga - Lmao. So true. If I saw my bf reading twilight I'd slap him!
@WhiteNinja89@xanga - booooo
@WhiteNinja89@xanga - Making out with another dude costs you your man card? I lost mine years ago.
@ETCACTOR@xanga - you only lose your man card for making out with another man if you're heterosexual. The reverse applies for homosexual folks as well.
The man card is only revoked if you do something that goes against your personal principles as a man. According to me, anyway >.>
i think if you ever use the term 'man card' you should get your ass kicked for being a douch nozzle. much like if you use the term 'case of the mondays'!!
He knows the difference between taupe and beige? or something. whatever.
if one dosent stare longingly into a waitresses eyes to get her to bend low enough to see her belly button piercing through the V of her cleavage, hold the door for the nice lady jus to inspect her even nicer ass as she walks by, make healthy appreciative sounds even if its the sexy ladies 15th time passin yer work site fer the day...
to replace man card... gauntlet of shoulder shots for at least a deep purple bruise circumferencing the entire upper arm...then stand the first three rounds down at the nearest pub, bar, or strip joint
I think all guys should and should be allowed to get in touch with their feminine side. What man card?
If you have ever watched any movie with Will Ferrel in it- thou shalt immediately lose any claim to the title "respectable man". If you are, however, of the opinion that men are idiots- then please reverse this rule.
