I did until I created a new account and only told a few people about it. Checked out the old one recently and didn't know who the heck half of them were.
I'm the one who's always "busy." Really, though, if someone IMs me there's a good chance I'm really here and may answer.
I dig that. Now I'm mentally categorizing my own IM window...totally lol-worthy.

i have one dude who is always "on a call"... and one who comes talk to you while he "appears offline", so you can't talk to them, but only if HE comes first, you'll talk...

I'm over instant messaging. I actually talk to real people on the phone nowadays
but before I had several screen names; one for people from school to text questions to regarding school projects, one for random pervs that I give my sn to just so that they'll stop stalking me to give them my sn but I rarely sign on that sn, one for close female friends to talk sh*t about other ppl with , one for guy friends that I talk to regularly and that I think are cute:)
