Looks like a campaign posterAs some of you may already know I work at Xanga and just wanted to introduce myself, because I've been sending out messages to users regarding post topics or content and they all ask me, who are you?
Well I figured this is a good time as any to introduce myself and touch on a few things.
First of all, I do most of the work on
Mancouch,
Healthkicker,
Dollarish and our new site,
Hardestlevel, so if you have any questions about any of those sites, feel free to send me a message at

Something interesting: I'm the only Mac person in the office. Naturally I took some heat for that in the beginning but things have calmed down a little.
About me: I'm a basketball fanatic. I played on my HS team and a little in college.
Here's a few things I wanted to touch on about the sites.
Censoring of wordsSome of our users have wondered why we censor certain words on sites like Mancouch. Well here's the simple answer.
If we don't censor certain words, we don't get ads and if we don't get ads, we can't run our sites. It's as simple as that. So, I hope you all understand.
Edit and mistakes Yes, we do make mistakes on the sites. It happens from time to time and running a bunch of sites at the same time, can get hectic.
But if you see a mistake, instead of saying "Oh, who the heck is editing this site?", just let us know we made a mistake and we'll take care of it. Of course we wouldn't be making these mistakes if the submitted content was perfectly edited
In the mean time, we're always looking for different ideas for the sites, things you think will help the site or would like to see. If you have any suggestions, feel free to send it my way.

Thanks for recognizing that you guys makes spelling/grammar mistakes. Aaah, it killed me everytime I saw one of those little buggers! I know my blog posts aren't perfectly edited either(I wish they were. ]:), but it still bothered me to see errors in more "professional" sites like these.

@CaucasianChopstix@xanga - I do my best to look over things, but we're getting better at it. You can only devote so much time to checking and rechecking posts. I like to get out of the office sometimes haha, but I understand what you're saying. Thanks for letting me know. Appreciate it

@SwordAndSacrifice@xanga - didn't do too well on the bracket. I did have UNC in the championship game but I had them losing to Louisville.
My Binghamton Bearcats were killed by Duke. I'm an alumni so I was there when they won the conference tourney.

@kash@healthkicker - I for one def understand the censorship of words. What I don't understand is why people think they absolutely have to use such words in the first place.
hmmm yes i do have a problem and where do i address it to..well you got stuck k kash? this is a question of decency... i tried a plug at xanga where i had a beautiful angel ..yes unclothed but at a quarter of a inch umm dont think it was so noticeable yet...was declared indecent... there is a site here a xanga that goes on and on about the tragedy of waco texas and the David Koresh followers, yes i agree its horrible and yes i agree major mistakes were made and she can use her site as she wishes but... my prob is with these plugs i keep seeing where she is using images of the children what died to promote her site. these children are dead..let them rest in peace not be part of a promotion where you cant even get a sense of what the promoter is after... i mean jeez its indecent to show a quarter inch beautiful angel naked ..what is it to use dead children to promote?
i dont know what can be done, should something be done or where to do it if it need be done but....
