I stumbled on the following picture on
DailyHaha and found this.
I'm currently using
Mozilla Firefox because I find it really reliable, secure, fast and it blocks a huge majority of pop-ups. I also like the interface for their
3.0 version with the bookmarks toolbar.
The fact that there are different type of add-ons you can get to improve the browser is pretty cool too. Another thing I also like about
Firefox is the option of getting back to the latest page visited after you close the program, which comes very handy in some cases. However, one major drawback is the amount of resources needed to run it, especially when you have several tabs or windows running at the same time.
I guess I'll try the other Internet browsers during the next month (
Opera,
Safari,
Google Chrome) and will tell you more about it. However, one thing is for sure, I just hate
Internet Explorer. I just can't believe how many times it crashed when I used it. It's just a shame that my blog looks way better on
Internet Explorer than on
Mozilla Firefox, especially the
RSS feed.
What Internet browser(s) are you currently using? Why are you using that one? Are you willing to try a different one? This is a submitted guest blog

google chrome!
and yeah i try another one if it better than this :)I'm using Firefox. I used to use Avant Browser, which was a shell for Internet Explorer, which I tolerated because the customizeability and ease of use made it worth it for me at the time. I got sick of how shitty IE was at rendering pages, sometimes it would hang up for a minute or more. I tried several different browsers, Firefox, Chrome, Slepnir, Opera, and I couldnt get any of them to have the same ease-of-use and customizeability of the Avant shell. The people who made the Avant shell also made a beta shell for Firefox called Orca, which was great except it was still very buggy. I've since made the switch to Firefox, and I hate the just-downloaded version of Firefox, but plugins are where it's at. You can customize Firefox any way you want with plugins. And sure, it eats up a shitton of RAM, but I havent encountered a single hickup despite that fact. I would've killed myself for saying this in the past, but..... Firefox FTW. I'm glad I made the switch.
FireFox xD
lmao.
Reliable.
I've been infected. Had to move onto Firefox...
I was told to try Chrome before. Any one like it?
@brittbritt__x@xanga - I'm currently using it at work along with firefox. It's much faster and the search bar/address bar combined, helps a lot. But firefox is much better at doing editing and things like that
Sad to say, IE gave me several forms of the clap before I got smart and decided to practice "safe surfing." Now I'm hooking up with Firefox and I'm pretty satisfied.
Safari looks sexy, I have to admit, but she's part of the Apple family and that automatically puts a damper on my attraction.
Firefox all the way! I've tried IE + Chrome and found myself returning to FF.
I use Firefox. My sister uses chrome.
I've used Safari before, I don't know if its just that I'm already settled with Firefox, but using safari pisses me off.
@kash@healthkicker - Thanks :)
firefox, ftw :)
Firefox all da way baby.
Firefox :)
My brother was praising Google Chrome this morning though, but i'll wait before i get it, just because.
I used to adore Netscape though, it's too bad they were bought out D:
hahhaha.
i'm lost dude.
map.google.com.
Hahahaha. Holy cow, I use Chrome. :(
Firefox!
As a past web developer I've had to use them all. The thing that always annoyed me was IE (in various versions) has always been broken and not implemented web standards properly, but since IE is the most used browser I had to "hack" my sites to make look right in IE, this often caused problems with other browsers that worked properly and adhered to web standards.
I hate IE with a passion.
Fire Fox. :)
I use Safari, but I wouldn't mind using Firefox, I can access more of my school apps without having to use a different computer.
FireFox
only cause they haven't made Google Chrome for MacBook yet
I use Safari when on the Macbook Pro (which is most of the time), and I use Firefox when I'm forced to use the PC my boyfriend assembled. (The PC is great, especially with the triple monitor display, but because of how it's set up, I always get a tension headache from being forced into bad posture.)
I have chrome, and love it, but I'm open to changing it if something better came along.
i mainly use chrome but xanga sucks on chrome. so i use firefox for xanga. & chrome for everything else.
Chrome kicks ass. I don't know why so many people hate on it. I'm using it right now. Its super fast and looks clean and neat. I don't need 20 million buttons at my disposal just to browse the web, you know? My only complaint is that it doesn't always handle flash applications and multimedia that well. Then again, its always good to have two or more browsers installed on your machine--just in case-- so my second choice is firefox. IE sucks so bad, and I second that last web developer's comment. I know what he means.
Flock (Firefox at its core)
i'd like FIREFOX as a woman, just because she's a FOX.
although, SAFARI sounds pretty exotic, too. hm.
