Lions Accept Man As One Of Their Own!
I'm all for going to see animals at the zoo and sometimes even petting them but this guy here friggin' rolls around with Lions.
Check it out:
This guy is pretty badass. I don't know if I would ever be able to do that.
If given the opportunity, would you play with these lions?

If I had his courage, and those lions respected me like they do him, then yes. It's pretty evident from the video that the animals respect who he is among them. He respects the animals in their space. He KNOWS. They KNOW. If I was placed in his situation much like that then yes, of course I'd play with them.
Yeah, like Natalie said, we're going to read about this guy some morning and they'll do a sappy Discovery Channel special about "The Man Who Loved Lions" . . . and the lions who devoured every last chewy morsel of him.
I've never seen a lion roll over on its back like that before. Dare I say it's almost cuter than when dogs do it?
I used to visit a lion compound sometimes when I was a little girl. The owner was a friend of my brothers and he would let me hold the cubs and feed them a bottle. But I will never forget when he took off his shirt he had scars alll over his chest and arms. He said that the young lions thought he was a playmate and didn't always realize their own strength so sometimes they bit or clawed a him too hard. I never wanted to go in with the big lions then and I still don't.

They are such gorgeous animals. This was awesome.
Provided that I knew how to work with lions the same way I know how to work with dogs (including understanding them so that they understand me) - I would absolutely play with them!

I might.... with trained professionals surrounding the place... but that's it. I mean, I'm pretty afraid of getting hurt. But they look fuzzy. XD
So cute! But when he got on the ground and all three were on top of them, yeah I don't think I'd feel totally okay.

I think it's pretty awesome to have the relationship with lions....but still, you don't know when one day they're going to snap.
They look so friendly! And they really like him too! lol. :)
I think I'd be very careful with them though.. 'Cause in the end, they are still wild animals with animal tendencies.
But they look so fluffy and soft... Awww. :)
