The packaging alone was amazing. It was like opening a brand new Apple product. Everyone knows Apple products have excellent packaging, making the actual product even more appealing. That's how it was with the Gessato skin care kit.

I got to try out the facial cleanser/scrub, facial treatment serum, and the shaving cream. The facial cleanser and scrub both have a very clean, spring like smell to it. It's really hard to describe unless you're using it. It reminds me of a trip I took through France and Italy. It smelled like clean air, which NYC really does not have.
Of course the refreshing feeling doesn't stop there. The facial treatment serum adds to that spring feeling and leaves a lasting smell. Although I loved the facial treatment serum (I have acne, and it helped tone down the outbreaks, which was a great plus), I wish we were given a bigger sample.
The shaving cream, I can still smell because I used it this morning, is probably one of the best, if not the best, shaving creams I've ever used. It has small scrub like particles, that turn to smooth creme after applying it to the skin, and creates a nice lather without getting too foamy.
I still use real blades to shave, so the Gessato shaving creme really makes it smooth and easy for the blade to cut through without cutting my skin.
I'm amazed by the quality of the skin care and shaving set. Of course one would expect this kind of luxury to be expensive but if you want to help fight acne, get a smooth shave, all the while having your face smell refreshed and spring like, this is definitely the brand to go with.
I would love to try out more sample since facial treatment serum has run out, but Gessato definitely has a place in my medicine cabinet. The facial cleanser and shaving creme are the first things I reach for in the morning.
(I still leave the products in the box while it's in the medicine cabinet. The packaging is amazing, I'm serious).
