Jack Black Beard Lube, A Smooth Death To A Scruffy Beard
When I picked up this product and read Jack Black, I couldn't help think of Jack Black, the actor. With that thought (and his not-so clean looking beard) aside, I gave the beard lube (conditioning shave) a try.
Since I'm one of the only guys in the office that grows thick facial hair, I was the ideal candidate to try it.
Here are some of my thoughts on the product.
It didn't smell great out of the tube but that quickly changed once I applied it to my face.
It was in a form of a gel but turned foamy quickly, so it made the blade cut through easier.
Jack Black claims it is a pre-shave, shave cream and skin conditioner all in one. I'm not sure what a skin conditioner is supposed to do but it felt great after the shave.
Personally I'm used to using the foamy, cheap shaving cream from the local drug store, so this was different for me. It had a smoother finish and felt refreshing after the wash.
There's nothing negative about the product except, I wish I got to try some more. We were given a 3 ounce tube.
I would definitely recommend the beard lube, especially if you have a thick scruff and you finally want to get rid of it. Your face will be very thankful you didn't use the one dollar shaving cream from the dollar store.

Ha! Now my friend has no excuse not to shave that beard of his off.
I think their products are totally overlooked. I use their facewash and spf lotion and could not be happier. However, I do agree with you that the smell can be different at first. But, since they use a lot of organic ingredients, I don't really mind.
Haha. Lube.
