  • Clay Will Bring Us Together

In the words of the great Admiral Ackbar, "It's a Trap!"

Seriously though, points to this European Play-Doh knock off for having some balls and a sense of humor. Good on them. If more ads were like this, Tivo would only be half as awesome.

Still, I can't help but worry for our young black friend there. I mean, love knows no color, but KKK-man's friends sure do. This is not going to work out well. Or he himself could be trying, as Ackbar reminds us, to set a trap. Isn't this is how slavery started?

In the end, I choose to believe, instead, that our young lady friend is actually a man pulling a Bugs Bunny style ruse on his dim-witted pursuer. Setting his own trap of sorts. Let's hope, for the children, that this KKK member is about to get an anvil dropped on his head.

Oh and for funsies, here's their other ad. It turns out the POWER OF ROCK can save the world after all.

What's should Becks (the company behind the clay and ads) put in its next advertisement? I mean I see a T-Rex in the background, maybe he can find a Triceratops (the T-Rex's natural enemy) friend. Maybe some one from India and some one from Pakistan knitting sweaters together ... made out of Kashmir ... ah, see what I did there?

Should other companies should borrow this marketing strategy? What would an actual humorous version of an ad that already exists, look like?
