What is your favorite beer?
Beer is as varied as the animal kingdom: there are dark beers, light beers, foreign brands, and domestic. There are species and subspecies of beers and beer from local brewers as well.
I can't stand thick heavy beer like German beers. I'm really hooked on Corona and I like Heineken, but I love the crispness of Mexican beers with a lime on a hot day.
Do you drink? If so, what's your favorite beer?

Myself, I can't stand something like Corona--far too watery for my taste. When I have beer, I need something with a full-bodied flavor.
I love brown ales: Newcastle, Sam Smith's, Old Peculiar.
I like red ales: Killians
Some lagers I'll go for, like Sam Adams Boston Lager (which tastes more like an ale than a lager anyway).
Stouts like Guinness I have to be in the mood for, and I can't drink with a meal.
Wheat beers are something I have to be in the mood for, too, like Blue Moon Belgian or Paulaner Hefeweisen.
Belhaven Scottish Ale holds a place in my heart.
But my all time favorite beer is...
Sam Adams Octoberfest. That one's a damn good beer.
Wat iz biyr lol.
I prefer brown ales and porters, generally. In summer I'll drink wheat beers in the afternoon/early evening.
I think Goose Island, Left Hand and Rogue are some of the best American brewers.
I love Sam Adams and Guiness, they're probably two of my favorites. Blue Moon is up there too.
Samuel Adams definitely, but I'm not much of a beer drinker anyways...
Corona and Blue Moon
I've completely stopped drinking, but back when I did (and if I decide to do so again in the future) my favorite is Rolling Rock.
Natty fuckin light. We drink to get drunk... Give us the most watered down cheap beer ya got. 13 bucks for 30 of those lil silver beauties...
And when you start spouting off about how full bodied and better tasting a dark stout is...we crush all 30 of the natty empties upside your head.
haha..kidding really. If you party 2-3 nights a week. 12-20 beers a night... Who can afford a habit like that on guiness or blue moon. No matter what you drink..When you drink to party you feel like shit in the morning. Doesnt matter how light or dark your beer is. Might as well go cheap.
@jfmichael@xanga - See, my daddy always tol' me, "Life's too short to drink cheap beer."
Besides, if you're drinking to get drunk, isn't beer awfully inefficient? Even wine does you faster.
I love things by Leinenkugel, although their Berry Weiss is a bit too fruity for me (mix it with a Honey Weiss, and you've got yourself a nice drink). Also, most things from Great Lakes (regional Cleveland, OH microbrew) is great. And most seasonals are good as well.
@ChrisRusso@xanga - have to agree on the cheap beer. I refuse to drink cheap beer, especially if I'm drinking for enjoyment.
@ChrisRusso@xanga - you cant make neat pyramids out of liquor bottles! And wine kicks my ass the next day. Always has.
Beer is just usually easier to shake off the next day. Perhaps cause of the water levels in it?
With liquor you usually mix it with soda... So drinking a two liter of soda in a night plus a fifth of rum is gonna make anyone feel like crap.
Sadly I am not tough enough to walk around with a glass of straight bourbon or scotch all night. Perhaps one to sit around and sip on with a fatty cigar but i could never handle my dark liquors.
As americans..We are obsessed with imports..I wonder what they drink over in europe...Anyone know? Do they love our beer as we love theirs?
Corona is my favorite, but on a daily basis it's usually Coor's.
Usually a good microbrewed cream ale on tap. If I have to drink bottled, maybe a Corona on a hot day, or a Sam Adams.
I like MGD but I also like a Carona now and then. Over the holidays I discovered Sam Adam's Winter Lager, it was really good.
Drinkin' in a bar I gotta go with Shiner Bock, a nice dark but not heavy, great tasting, TEXAS BEER!! If I'm drinkin' at a party i gotta go bud light or miller lite. At the pool I gotta go coors light, corona, or occasionally dos equis.
PBR.
I'm into hard liquor. Beer sucks =x
Killian's Irish Red...enough said.
taiwan beer, gold label.
also japanese beers (sapporo, kirin, asahi).
I like Blue Moon.
@abcxunt@xanga - there's a small club called MJQ near where i live that sells PBR for $2 on Wednesday nights hahaha
Anything by the August Schell Brewery, New Glarus Brewery, and Leinenkugel's.
is it true that it's an acquired taste? i've tried...i just can't acquire it! i'm a jack girl ^_^
beer totally does suck.. and i don't drink anymore, but when i did..
National Bohemian....(Natty Bo) is awesome... really awesome....
and Corona (not light) is pretty decent.
@zubes5806@xanga - Deffinatly, its exactly like wine. I hate the taste of wine, it makes me sick. Other people love it. I can drink any kind of beer you put infront of me. Dark, light, whatever! It all tastes good to me.
My absolute favorite of all time is a Japanese beer, Asahi. It's really smooth.
