What Girls Say To Guys & What It Means
Here's a list from one of our female readers about what girls say to guys and what it really means.
Previously, we've only featured lists from a guys point of view. For all you guys out there, study this list, it might come in handy one day.
Here's 10 things girls say to guys and the real meanings behind them."It's a girl thing" = That means that whatever we are chatting or tittering about is most likely made up of any inside joke, memory, or comment you or anyone else may have ever said or done at any point in time. When we say this, back away slowly...better yet, RUN.
"That's very interesting honey" = And that reminds me of this super (adjective) time when...
"Why don't you stop and ask for directions?" = Its painfully obvious this is going to be awhile, so let me get out of the car for a second, stretch my legs, buy a snack...and put up MISSING posters of myself all around town before we get lost forever.
"You know I love you" = Until you do something to piss me off again.
"You look great!" = Ok! My turn, and don't neglect any detail!
"That was an amazing movie" = and I'm still balling my eyes out...4 hours later.
"Its that time of the month, no big deal" = I feel like my insides are turning inside out, and if that isn't chocolate or painkillers in your hand I am going to completely lose it on you!
"Why do you work so hard? Take a break." = You deserve a night off...so take me out somewhere nice!
"Don't you remember what today is?" = I remember what I want, as it benefits me -how dare you! I hope you're aware of just how severe your verbal lashing is going to be once I vent to my girlfriends...prepare to hear about this weekly, ten years from now.
"I'm really tired today" = You were more interested in the internet these last few days, so I took care of my own business.
Should women be blunt about what they're trying to say because sometimes it gets very confusing for guys?

From past experience:
"Of course I don't mind if you (watch the game with your buddies/go out for beers/watch an action movie, etc) without me" = You have a choice, and if you don't choose to spend time with me that's the wrong choice. Be prepared for days/weeks of suffering.
"Nothing's wrong" = something is wrong, most likely it has something to do with you and if you don't guess what it is soon be prepared for for days/weeks of suffering.
"I don't expect anything major for (my birthday/v-day/monthiversary/anniversary)..." = You better be planing something extravagant, and it better be exactly what I'm thinking it should be in my head. If not be prepared for weeks/months/years of suffering.
HAHA.
[x
Lol...I tend to "ball" my eyes out, too.
coughbawlcough
"I think I want to be just freinds" = We'll still see eachother but if I find out you're seeing someone else later on, your life will be hell.
Past experiance, anyways. lol
you know i love you =
DON'T.
FUCKING.
PISS ME OFF.
but right now i do love you
JUST DON'T.
FUCKING PISS ME OFF!!!
again , honey. <3 with much love and care.
@brokenheartedboi@xanga - Way too true! Hahaha!
hilarious!!! :D
thsi just reinforces my belief that girls are manipulative
@thebigbird658@xanga - I don't think (most) women are manipulative, they just think differently than men. Men (most) just say what they mean, it's their word, they stand by it. Women usually say what they feel, and we all know how quickly feelings change (both men and women).
I find that accepting that women will always be challenging makes life a little bit easier.
@brokenheartedboi@xanga - you win. those describe my girlfriend almost perfectly.
Hehe. yea... we say things but only think of ourselves... THat's us girls.Â
"Its painfully obvious this is going to be
awhile, so let me get out of the car for a second, stretch my legs, buy
a snack...and put up MISSING posters of myself all around town before
we get lost forever. "
lol very funny...
haha, these are pretty good too.
When I tell a guy he can go out and hang with his friends I Honestly mean it. If I tell him he being annoying I honestly mean it. When I joke around and call him a nerd I honestly mean it but he would be my nerd. And lastly if I tell a guy I love him I mean it.
I just say what I mean. Its annoying when a guy is trying to de-code everything when really there is nothing to de-code.
And yes when I'm on my period and I have a boyfriend I come out and tell him...I'm on my period watch out...lol.
while these are very ammusing... ummm yea.. sorry i dont have all these secret meanings. i say what i mean and mean what i say. i dont have time to beat around the bush and play games. either be straight forward or stop dating and grow up lol all these mixed messages are just confusing and annoying. no matter if its a guy or a girl sending them.
There is also the classic
I don't care, AKA you've pissed me off so much that now I'm going to ignore/guilt trip you until I decide I'm ready to not hate you.
funny... but i'm not convinced on it's accuracy.
i've said those things... but never with those meanings in mind.
i think you might need to check your sources.
its a good and bad thing to be blunt (honest, straightforward). not everybody can take it than again not everybody can take "what i said and what i mean are two different things". not only is it confusing for guys but girls as well.
Lol yeah we're moody =P
@thebigbird658@xanga -Â
word up, brothaA. women are manipulative.
B. they should just be honest.
C. JUST RUN FOR YOUR LIFE, PERIOD!!!!
@brokenheartedboi@xanga - lmao.....sooooo true
lol from a girls point of view what brokenheartedboi@xanga commented is so true. espcially with using nothing's wrong .I say nothing's wrong when I am upset with him.
Absolutely they should!
Whichever is the most convenient way of communication. Sometimes being blunt is unnecessary and too harsh for a message that isn't important enough to take so directly. Other times, being subtle is just a form of passive aggressiveness. All depends on what's goin on.
