There's a popular
chain letter going around Facebook. It's asking users to write 25 random things about themselves and then tag 25 people afterward.
A-Rod decided to participate and

- • Sometimes I wish Derek Jeter would just give me a hug when I make a great play.
- • Madonna really is my “soul mate”. I asked the magic mirror in her bedroom and it told me so.
- • I play baseball but I wish I could disco all night and get $300 Million for it.
- • The person that leaked the steroids story was really Joe Torre.
- • Sometimes when I’m playing 3rd base, I like to stand there and think about what I want for dinner.
- • Whenever I pay the Red Sox, I play bad so I can hit up all the bars afterward, same thing with Toronto, Los Angeles, Chicago, Tampa Bay…You get the picture.
- • If I could, I would be Madonna’s back up dancer.
- • People keep asking me if I took “steroids”, why didn’t they work during the postseason? I keep telling them, post season takes away from my vacation time.
- • Whenever I get booed, I cry a little inside. Which is why I wear sunglasses when I’m at bat, so people can’t see the tears.

- • Why won’t Derek Jeter accept my friend request? It’s been 4 years now.
- • I like automatic things, like my car cuz you know…I hate the clutch.
- • I hate ESPN, they couldn’t even get the story first. Pshh I’m canceling Sportscenter.
- • I thought Sports Illustrated only did swim suit issues. Who knew?
- • Derek Jeter hasn’t openly supported me yet, but I know Johnny Damon will cuz he’s an “idiot”

- I think he should be punished for his error. It's not like he was the ONLY ONE who was thinking that he could be the greatest ball player of all time. There were plenty of other young up-and-comers at that time who were also under the same pressures as well to perform and show everyone how good they were. So what made him so different from the rest at that time ?
- Also, I don't think that you don't have to have a chemistry degree to know that you shouldn't inject yourself with anything to "enhance performance". As a matter of fact, I make it a point not to inject myself with anything to begin with....mind you... I respect those who have to take shots themselves for MEDICAL reasons...that's fine and understandable.......NOT when you're a professional athlete in perfect health.
-Sorry Alex, I appreciate your being honest but you must also pay the price....just like Marion Jones (and others).They admitted it and will forever have that blemish...but at least they can look at themselves in the mirror in the morning and everyone else in the world with a clean conscious....it also shows you got spine. Hard to find that nowadays.

nway, i never really liked him yet and i AM a yankee fan. watch almost all of their games every night. i dont like him just because he's not a good clutch performer. true, without him, yankees wont get to postseason. but ferreal, why does he always flinch when its postseason? thats why people dont love him. esp new yorkers! i guess he hasn't really proved anything at all. but yeah, i believe that this will all be forgotten once he does something RIGHT and GOOD for the yankees this year!
