Er, I dunno. It's not that easy. Beer is complex, and some of us don't settle for piss water (Bud, Miller, etc). For me it's always a question of which beer (lager, stout, or porter), or whether I want a whisky drink. I'm Irish. We like our whisky too.
it depends upon the person you are asking to "lets go get a drink?"
each person will differ from another person
so style will ultimately be different
decisions... decisions :)

I like 200 proof grain alcohol with a liter mug of homemade raisin jack. Keep it chilled in the toilet tank so the guards can't see it.

I'm a bartender at an Irish pub in North Jersey, and this is TOTALLY true. When the guys come in, it's all about the beer. When the women come in, they're decked out in their finest and ask for fancy cocktails and shots.
We actually came up with a rule: NO GIRLY DRINKS! Mwahaha. :)
Very funny... i dont take long to get ready. mayb a shower brush hair teeth put on cute outfit (tight tank top and tight jeans) and heels. see simple. i hate skirts!! and lol. really FUNNY!!!!!! *^_^*
i must think more like a guy when i hear that phrase....alright, yes, i pick a cute outfit, but i don't buy certain drinks for certain outifts...jack & coke, every time.
i find it ironically amusing that if you place the man and the women the end of the tree's branches, the goal, everything is reversed. the man likes to have all his options open to all different types of girls but the girls likes to have one man :P
