  • The Notebook Is An Underwear Dropper

    Guest blog by Kash

The topic if The Notebook came up a few times here on Mancouch, and let me tell you something, every guy should watch that movie at least once.

I had a girl friend call it a panty dropper, although I don’t agree with the assessment, I do believe it can help a guy in the long run.

Most women, no matter how hurt they’ve been in the past, hope to have someone love them just as much as Noah (Ryan Gosling) does.

By watching the movie, your genuinely showing you can be that guy.  Most guys, no matter how much they deny it, have that side to them.

You won’t show it around your boys, you’ll even dog the movie for being so stupid, but when you’re around your girl, you’re a different person.

You love them and you’ll do things like play with her hair, or even have pet names.

You’ll even argue and then go bitch about it to your friends, saying how much you hate her but deep inside you just want to hold her again.

Okay, so you saw the movie but it didn’t help, instead she called you soft, and ended up dumping you, it’s not such a big deal.  Why? Well because you’ve discovered a part of yourself you didn’t think existed.

This can only make you better with the next girl.  Most girls like excitement and adventure, which is why they’ll date the “bad boy” but in the end girls get tired of it.

They want stability and if you can show them a side they haven’t been exposed to, you’re golden.

So fellas, when your girl suggests the movie (heck you can even take the initiative and suggest it), just watch it and enjoy.

Trust me it’s not so bad, and I’m pretty sure you’ve seen worse movies than The Notebook.

Hell you might even get lucky like my friend’s BF, who got her to drop her panties for him after he saw it with her.  (Results vary, does not work with every girl)

Have you seen The Notebook with your significant other?  Was it so bad? What about getting lucky?
