I have had it happen as a girl. I fell from the the uneven bars & landed on the support. It feels the same as this guys said@RoidBear@xanga -

Maybe it feels like what happens when you get hit really hard in the breast..... Seriously, there's a reason why women used to fear that being hit there would cause cancer. It hurts THAT bad, it's like you're damaged permanently.

@Not_a_real_site@xanga - They do feel like they've been sitting in boiling water!

One of my guy friends said that they feel it in the stomach when they are kicked down there... O.O

@la_faerie_joyeuse@xanga - Agreed, that freaking hurts! Definitely a mood killer lol.

This is funny in an ironic way. My Mom asked me the same thing last week so here's how I explained it to her.  The initial blow is nothing really. It's the intense onrush of the feeling after that's so bad. It feels like your guts are being ripped out at first and then it gets worse by the minute. Even just a little tap to the scrote can cause you to double over and almost puke. If you kick someone there and he doesn't become immobilized, you must be dealing with some kind of mutant. Run for your life! ! !

No idea I have not been kicked in this area,  probably a bit like 'man getting hit by a football' in the animation The Simpsons episode.

  • wolvenchic@xanga

Ive been hit in my genitalia, and I felt a pain sort of similar to when you get hit in the boob only incredibly worse. Itll definately knock you out, I figure the male genitalia is around the same or worse

  • emptyspiral@xanga

Pssshhhh, it feels like a mosquiter bite at worst, prolly because I am a real man and interlectural enough to use my ancient eastern ching-chong-chang arts to retractate mah balls up into my abdomen as if they each had a little ladder to clumb up to safty away from gettin kick'd.

It kinda feels like an entire platoon of kittens licking your face... excepted they're hurting your dongle berries and not just kittens but also ninjas. Plus they're really strong and have ninja stars. I'm not sure why but they stand on two legs and work out a lot. Long story short getting hit in the groin with a ninja star would really hurt!

@Not_a_real_site@xanga - My cousin kicked me and I managed to the pain long enough to punch her in the face. I think it's worse if someone of the same sex does it.

  • thinkpinkpanther@xanga

It's like a billion potential children screaming at the top of their lungs.

  • kmiahali@healthkicker

it hurts like hell! (or even worse)

  • BFSpirate@xanga

It's a paralyzing pain accompanied by EXTREME NAUSEA!

  • Arabbella@xanga

I've heard that being kicked in the groin causes about the same level pain as dysmenorrhea (severe menstrual cramps).  I was just told this though, I don't have any actual sources to give for that, so I don't know if it is true or not.

  • spunky88@xanga

Id say its more of just a serious stomach cramping up and you llose your breath, its the stomach cramp that makes the nausea.
its bad, but i dunno,  ive been hit there, and been angry enough to blank the pain out and attack someone.

  • CokeIsIt@xanga

It isn't the initial blow that hurts. Actually, for a hair's-breadth of a second you actually dare to hope that the offending blow missed... then it hits you like a freight train on steroids and a sugar high.

It doesn't feel like pain, so much as an electrical shock filled with heat that starts in the stomach and radiates everywhere. And that's all before the nausea even hits. You lose control of motor function and vision without the blessed mercy of actual unconsciousness.

In other words, it kind of hurts.

  • Tokimon@xanga

just imagine smacking your funny bone

  • xSarah_Jane@xanga

I've been injured there and I can tell you I was pretty much paralyzed for a couple of minutes.
    It hurt SO bad.

So, to some degree, I can understand how painful it is for guys.

  • thefoolwhofollowsyou@xanga

I feel a very sharp, loud ache from the area, reaching as far up as my stomach.

  • Finalplague_Trinity@xanga

Its a Really shard pain that shoots inward and kinda up the spine, but the worst part is the throbbing that doesnt go away for about 10 minutes.

The feeling has created a sort of phobia, at least for me, when ever theres a close call I cringe automatically.

Worst shot yet - a really hard shot with a soccer ball dead-on when I was younger. Will never forget it...

  • dmottster

well i do not know if this makes it hurt more or not but i have very small nuts so it hurts very badly for me

It all depends upon how heavy you get hit!   I've been hit there hard twice and in two different ways.    The feeling seems to vary depending upon how heavy and how penetrating the the blow actually is:

In high school gym class some jerk heaved a basket ball into my crotch at close range.    The stinging pain radiated from my testicles right into the back of my hips and into my gut just as others have describes here.   The pain was very intense and it stunned me for about 10 minutes.  Although, as far as I know, nobody's ever been castrated by a basket ball.

However, a few years later I was kneed by my sister-in-law.   She's a big girl and her thighs are quite powerful so the pain was completely different.

I can only describe being kneed hard right in the groin like this:

Imagine that your hand is laying flat down on your concrete driveway.   Then imagine that some jerk comes up to you with a sledge hammer and slams it down on your hand as hard as he can!     That's what it feels like to get kneed in the groin full force!

In fact, the injury was so devastating for me that my body went into complete shock.    For a time, adrenaline and endorphins acted to dull most of my pain and mask the full extent of my injury.

In this more extreme scenario, the thing that makes a guy collapse isn't the feeling of intense pain but actually the bodies natural defense mechanism of dulling unavoidable pain as a result of neurogenic shock combined with a sharp and dangerous drop in blood pressure.    That's why a heavy blow to the groin can be, and has been, fatal.

In fact, many "prey animals," such as chickens and rabbits, actually experience the same kind of instinctive neurological pain blackout when they're being eaten alive.

Hope that this answers your question?
