What Is The Best Game Console? - ManCouch QOTD
QOTD
Most guys and many girls now, have some kind of video game system, so which one do you think is the best (it can be any system including portables)? Why?
If you have more than one, which one do you prefer to play the most?

My favorite is the 360 just because it has a larger library of games than the PS3 and I always seem to be playing that system more than my PS3. Over time, I hope that the PS3 can gain some ground because I feel like it's a better system, but just doesn't quite have the game support yet.
If someone asked me which system to buy, I'd almost just have to say the 360. It's more of a sure bet than the Wii (lack of actual good, non-gimicky games) and the PS3(lack of exclusive, awesome games).
DOESN'T MATTER. : P

PC's are my favorite
console playstation 2, however if I still had my mega drive or master system this would come top of my list (since I like most of the games I had)
ZX spectrum is my all time gaming.
i like them all. it all depends on the games you want to play, and it all depends on my mood throughout the day. i don't like to stay on one console or computer too long--it's like eating too much of the same thing for a while, and i like to switch it up a bit. so i go to my friends' or my cousin's or sister's consoles and play--it's free AND i get to try it all
I have the Wii, Xbox 360, and a Playstation 3... I like ALL of them :)
I have a wii and i dont use it too much. I use my PC the most.
i have the ps3.. my bf owns the 360 and my cousin has the wii.. i love the ps3 and the 360

Well, I love video games. But, all I have is my laptop and a Sega Genesis that I've had since they came out. But I do have some limited access to other stations. My cousins have a Playstation 2 and I like it but it seems hard to find good games for. A friend has a 360 that I've played once or twice and its alright. I just played the Wii last week for the first time at another friends(just Wii Sports) and it was some what entertaining. I think that was mostly due to the Wii characters they had made of people we knew. If the games for the Wii were better I'd go for that. Playstation 3 also doesn't have that many good games.

From this century, Xbox 360 gets my vote.
the 360 has soul calibur 4.
I have pretty much just followed that game to whatever console has it. From dreamcast I went to gamecube. Frome game cube I went to ps2, from there to the xbox 360.
I hear that FF13 is coming out of the 360 which is cool. plus the orange box is only on pc and the Xbox.... and that is one of the greatest games ever.
@Zayin_michael@xanga - PS 3 has it too. I had the game for my PS 3 but got bored after playing it for a week.

@kash@healthkicker - yeah I played the tower of lost souls.. got to level forty something... to the hardest part ever and then it broke my will to live. I still love the game and making crazy custom characters...but that part is the bane of my gaming drive.
Xbox 360 because the game library is much better than that of the PS3!

Everyone has a different opinion and you know that. It doesn't necessarily mean that one game system is better than the other. All your doing here is sparking controversy, and passionate game lovers are just gonna come together and start flame wars. Geez.
I have a Wii, but I usually just use my PC!
I'm a 360 man because of the fact that the platform has so many titles to choose from, but I have to admit, NHL 09 on the PS3 is some sexy stuff.
i would say the xbox 360 is the best in terms of the umber of games that are there, ps3 is the more one person type game console whereas the wii is more interactive and a family type console.

hands down XBOX 360...and Nintendo wii ...playstation sux..too expensive for no damn reason....people just buy it for the blue ray dvd...big woop...
I definitely think the Wii is the best out of the three. It's getting harder to come up with new ideas for games, and really when you think about it, there are virtually no new games. Out of the 1st person shooters (army/zombie/future), 3rd person shooters (army/zombie/future), puzzle games, rpgs, racers, sports, fighters, and basic adventure games, the only thing that really has been the most innovative in the last couple of years is the capacity to have more stellar graphics/animation and the general abilities of the player.
The Wii has taken video gaming to a totally new level, and they've been able to do so without charging you an arm, a leg, and your left testicle. And they get mad props for doing so.
360...because seriously, GOW 1&2, Halo, Oblivion.....!
