This is a guest blog submitted by Kash Ladies having trouble picking our gifts for your man this Christmas? Well don't worry I'm here to help you out with top 10 gifts for him.
Some may be really easy to get while others might be pricey. Just get a sense of what he likes (you should know that already right?) and go on that epic search:
10. Clothing- depending on your guy, clothes are always a nice option. Most women like to dress up their guy, so a blazer or button down shirts are the way to go.
9. Cologne – One of the best smelling colognes is Acqua Di Gio, but I hear everyone's got it, any other suggestions?
8. DVD Collection – Preferably Blu Ray Disks even though they’re a little expensive. Collections like The God Father, Star Wars or Lord Of The Rings are always a great choice.
7. Wallet – This is great for a guy you just met and don’t know him too well. This is a safe bet.
6. Blu-Ray Player – It’s an expensive gift but a great one. Guys love the latest technology and this is definitely one of them.
5. iPod – It has to be on the list for many this Christmas. Guys would prefer the iPods with more memory and touch screen, so the iPod Touch would be great. But I’m sure he’ll appreciate any one of them.
4.Video Games – Do I have to bother explaining?
3. Sports Tickets – Most guys love going to sporting events. So getting them tickets for their favorite sport is a good idea (of course you’ll be joining them) even if the seats are crappy.
2. HDTV – They’re getting cheaper but still relatively expensive. This one has to go to the love of your life. Of course you’ll want to make sure he doesn’t sit in front of it all day.
1. Video Game System- This is probably what most guys want. Some may already have system but it never hurts to have another one. Most of the systems such as the Xbox 360, PS3, have gone down in price. Your man will love you dearly for this, except of course when he’s focused on playing his game.
Are you getting anything from this list for your guy? What is it? If not, then what are you planing to get?

10.) That's..unoriginal. I hate buying people clothes. Most people I know don't like to receive clothes. They would like to pick out their own clothes better cause then they can pick out what they like that fits their style.
9.) Everyone already has that already. LOL.
7.) I've done that..
1.) I would rather get that for myself than any guy...LOL. ahahah I'm the first to comment..
how about a "get out of jail free" card, for when the guy comes home late drunk one night...
As for different colognes, yay for Old Spice! And the original, not the imitation crap stuff. =P
I don't actually know that anyone else likes it, but I certainly do. ^^ Anyway. But I've never gotten a guy anything on the list, no....
question. and guys, be honest here:
suppose you have a guy friend who you used to date. you've never bought him a gift in your life. he has a cartilage piercing and just lost his earring when he got his hair cut. you want a cheap holiday present. he's 17... almost 18. i'm 15.
would it be appropriate to buy him (an) earring(s)?
@john@xanga - are you hinting at something
@laurenmaureen@xanga - that's actually thoughtful so why not?
@john@xanga - I suggested that once to a friend and boyfriend thought it was the most awesomest gift EVER. That should be #1 on the list.
@laurenmaureen@xanga - DO it. I think giving gifts to guys are no-brainers, especially if you know it's something he wants/needs.
I bought a 4G memory card for his phone, hes 7 states away and Im constantly sending him pictures of the family, so I knew he would need it.
I also made him a cheesecake.
Nautica Blue is his favorite cologne too, I love it just as much
i have a really good guy friend that i wanted to date but he didn't want to go in that direction. anyway if i 've learned anything, its that you get guys gifts they'd never expect. like something he might have only mentioned once or twice but the fact that you remembered makes it even more special.
we know each other pretty well so last Christmas i got him cuff-links (he performed in our school's orchestra), and this year i enabled his coffee addiction with a few pounds of his favorite coffee.9. Cologne: Burberry for men... I love the smell!!!
haha, these are all pretty good. i usually just buy them all video games :)
true, but i want a LAPTOP! =D
only 5
I <3 this list! =)
Wow....something for guys? I'm shocked. Good job on creating a list, I'm sure it'll please some guys out there. My niece got me a USB memory stick.
I got my guy a shirt, a scarf, and a hoodie :B he loved them, specially cause the hoodie is from his favorite store.
And I'm never going to buy him cologne again, haha. He has his specifics.....
i actually would love all of these as gifts! :)
I like to read, and i'm a guy, so where are good books? What about exercise equipment, or something like that?
usually i have trouble shopping for guys but for my current bf, i'm finding it pretty easy.
for his birthday this winter, i got him stuff for the winter that he was too lazy to go out and buy for himself: northface gloves, earmuffs, scarf, socks.
and a cute card.
for christmas, i shared music with him: i bought him volume one of the goo goo dolls' greatest hits and lush stuff because he's the only guy i know that likes to take baths on a regular basis.
i don't buy clothes because i figure he's best at buying his own clothes. although i have to admit he's got a couple of items in his wardrobe i wish he'd lose.
i like the wallet idea. and cologne. stuff that says you're looking out for him and you think of the little things.
or a gps. that's the next gift i think i'm going to get him.
i think anything that says thoughtful is better than something that just says money and convenience.
What about folding knives, a .22LR rifle, a new Glock, etc. ? I'd take those over sports tickets or a video game system any day.
woot
My boyfriend strongly dislikes when I buy him clothes. Not that he won't wear it, but he'd rather have vid games--which I feel are something his parents should be buying him.
i still dont' know what to get my bf this year because we just got back together and it's still kinda shaky..
It's always a nice surprise to get the odd fishing lure, line, hooks or even a good knife to clean fish. Guys that like fishing use a lot of them and need them all the time. If he isn't into that, a good quality flashlight always comes in handy and is much appreciated. Find out what his hobbies are and maybe get a subscription to a magazine about it. There's stuff for every guy from computer info to hunting and fishing, all kinds of mags are cool. Also, I really love getting nice socks. Some comfy ones for working when it's cold outside or good ones for dressing up. You can't have enough good socks. Come to think of it, a pair of gloves come in handy too. If you know him, it shouldn't be hard to find some little thing he'll like.
Nice list of items.
